How to clean our grinders?

To ensure that the grinders continue to work properly, it is smart to clean them thoroughly once a month. To help you with this, we have created a simple step-by-step plan on how to do this best.

1. Detaching parts

Start by unscrewing the gold adjustment wheel and then remove the white part from the grinder as shown in the picture. Make sure the spring stays attached or at least doesn't jump away.

2. Cleaning loose parts

Now carefully clean the adjusting wheel and the white part with soapy water and a sponge or brush. Note: the parts cannot go in the dishwasher. When you are done with this, let them dry on a clean tea towel.

3. Clean the wooden top

Then clean the top with a cotton swab or a piece of kitchen roll by pulling it through the edge. It doesn't have to be completely clean yet.

4. Ready to use

Now first put the white part with the spring back into the grinder. By pressing it down with your finger you keep the opening closed and you can shake out the remaining grains. You can also use a vacuum cleaner for this to make sure that everything is out again. Then you can also turn the gold adjustment wheel back on.

You are now ready to use the grinders again.
